Corporate Social Responsibility

At Choice Hotels, We’ve Made Room for Responsibility™

The Choice Hotels Room for Responsibility program focuses on areas where we believe our associates and our more than 6,300 franchised hotels around the world can have an impact on the communities where we work and live. Our core values and culture embody a commitment to ethical business practices and corporate social responsibility.

 Room to Give
Through the efforts of the Choice Hotels International Foundation, the company supports eligible non-profit organizations in geographic areas where we have corporate presence that provide food, shelter and clothing to those in need; support the educational efforts of schools, workforce entry organizations and the hospitality industry; and promote the growth and development of hospitality and tourism industries.
 Room to Rebuild
Choice’s Room to Rebuild program is a partnership with Rebuilding Together, the nation's leading nonprofit working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities. Choice associates and franchisees participate annually in rebuilding projects in communities around the country to rehabilitate homes for the most vulnerable of our population-the low-income elderly, disabled veterans, and families with children-free of charge.
 Room to be Green
Choice's Room to be Green program focuses not only on corporate efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle, but includes a focused effort to promote environmentally-friendly practices throughout the hotel system.
 Room for Everyone
Choice Hotels supports an inclusive workplace culture and environment that is conducive to fostering and honoring diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences.

 Human Rights Policy
We strive to conduct our business operations free from violations of human rights. In January of 2008, our Board of Directors adopted a Human Rights Policy.  Our Human Rights Policy condemns human trafficking and child exploitation and commits to raising awareness of this issue among the owners and staff of our franchised hotels.
